The first night out of Poros, we found this secluded spot behind a little island and stern tied to the shore for the night. It was good to be in clean water again! I caught 2 little fish early the next morning, thus breaking our long dry spell..unfortunately, nothing to fill the freezer with!
From this anchorage we headed down the Hydra channel. The wind was such that it wasn’t good protection on the island so we headed around to the big sandy bay of Kranidhiou. At 5 pm an unpredicted southerly blew up and made it very exposed, so we picked up and moved down behind a small island (Khinitsa) just outside Port Kheli. This had great southerly protection but at 6 am we were rock and rolling with a NW breeze, so we reanchored in the first bay as you entered Port Kheli. The day was spent running the generator to power the washing machine, and 6 loads later (which dried in record time in the 100 deg/ 30% humidity windy conditions we were having), I was all caught up. At 8 pm it finally calmed and cooled down enough, that we took the dinghy into the harbor (stopping to say hi to Polaris), and walked around town a little.

We ended up spending 1 more night there, while the wind lightened up, and headed off around the point the 3rd morning.
