It was a pretty long hot day motor sailing to Elafonisos which was up the inside of the first “finger” of the Peloponnise, but the anchorage at Frangos was gorgeous. We only stayed for swims and a coffee though because a southerly swell was making it a bit rolly for an overnight spot. The 2 nights we spent on the island were around the corner at Levki, which was not as pretty but there was better protection and less boats.
The wind was going around the clock so we headed up to Arkhangelos for southerly and easterly protection for a night, then into Plitra for 2 nights. I admit the wind shifts were trying, as no one anchorage offered all around protection so part of the day and night was uncomfortable. Heading around the next cape and up to Koroni was a good fix, as it had 3 anchoring options depending on what the wind was up too. We spent the first night under the Fort by ourselves, then moved around to the main bay off the harbor for another.
We were ready for a good walk around by now, so headed to shore and walked up and around the Fort. The people still living up there had gardens of veggies, flowers, and olive trees on the flat land on top. It was a lot cooler than down in the town as well.

Certainly it was toasty in the bakery we stopped at!
Glad to see you got to see Frangos Bay on Elphanisos even if winds not cooperative.
