Before Christmas, we took the 40 minute drive down the coast to Budva and spent an hour walking around the Old Town. It’s a happening place in the summer but practically deserted in the winter, and it was slightly eerie walking through the empty narrow streets. Just outside the walls, the “new” town was a hive of activity, with bustling people and construction underway. Actually, between Budva and Tivat, we had noticed a lot of construction, which was happening 7 days a week.
