Season Six

2021 SEASON SIX : Sipanska Luka and Budima

The day we left Gruz was the perfect chance to get the Code 0 out and enjoy a comfortable downwind sail to the N end of Sipan Island.

We were the only boat anchored in the head of the bay in 10 feet of water, just South of the ferry dock. Very refreshing swims were had and we enjoyed the views of Luka Sipanska while we dried off.

After a quiet night and an early ferry wake up call, we got underway and motor sailed in changeable conditions. The place we first stopped at didn’t have protection from a northerly swell, so after a test hook, we headed back to the mainland and had the larger bay of Budima to ourselves! At this point early season cruising was looking pretty good, with the low/no competition for anchoring, and the ” cold therapy” swims were good for us….
