There were a couple of short hops with good anchorages over the next few days, so there was no need for early starts.

This part of the coast had lots of small islands and reefs dotting the sea, which made for more interesting navigation. There was a big marina in Rogoznica, on the approach to U. Stupin, and we were seeing charter boats out and about. Usually they tied up at marina’s or town quay’s over night, so we didn’t have any trouble with anchoring room.
Luka Vinisce was about 2 hours from Marina Kastella where we had a reservation for 2 nights. The plan was to check out Split from there and track down a wood fired lamb restaurant we had heard about.

After we found a good spot in Vinisce, an enterprising guy from a local restaurant came by boat and dropped off a menu. We opted for the grilled chicken and veggies with fresh flat bread. It was quite a novelty getting food delivered to the boat!
