Ahh, civilization! Yep, it was time to unload rubbish and get some fresh produce, so after a week anchored off of Stocking Island while the wind honked, we re-anchored closer to town and made a run in the dinghy.

This entrepreneur is providing a much needed and much appreciated service, and is probably the best bargain to be had in the Bahamas.
It was great to be able to offload the garbage in such an easy manner, it’s the little things eh!
The next stop was the Exuma market to pick up a few veggies. Everyone had the same idea as this was the first day where the wind had dipped under 20 knots, so the store was busy! The staples like potatoes, onions, carrots, and cukes, were still available but the greens, dairy, fresh meat/chicken, were out. Not to worry, Greek salads were fine with us.
We moved the boat back over to our spot North of Monument Beach, and went to shore for a walk around and a visit to “Da Sand Bar” for a rum and juice drink.

It was a lovely, relaxing spot, and it reminded us how fortunate we were to be cruising down here.
Virg & Todd,
My that’s quite adventurous and looks somewhat primitive especially Da Sand Bar 🤗 however I’m sure the rum drinks satisfied. That turquoise water is so beautiful! There are lots of catamarans in the anchorage.
Both you and Todd look happy, continue enjoy your adventures and stay safe!
Happy belated Valentine’s Day 💞…
