It was an early start for the day sail up to the Abacos from the anchorage at Royal Island, and we had a full day changing out sail combinations as the wind was a bit flukey. Main and asymmetrical, main and jib, no main and the asymetrical, just the jib…and then the iron Genny for the last hour into the anchorage at Old Robertsons Bite. It was a good spot for the evening storm, and the boat got another serious wash down.

When conditions settled, we crossed the bay and entered Little Harbor for the first time. This is home to Pete’s Bar and Gallery, and we’d been wanting to check it out since last season.

We had one night on the mooring as there was limited anchoring room, but it gave us plenty of time to have a good walk and checkout the bar and gallery. The next morning we headed out to Lynyard Cay for a couple of days before rendevousing with some friends in HopeTown.
