The guy’s had their hands full with 3 days of strong wind after we left on the trip. It slowed the work schedule a little, but they still managed to get everything sorted with new alternators on both engines, and new cables run to the 5 new house batteries. This included much pulling and tracing of old wiring, and upgraded fuses and breakers…all while bent over in the engine rooms or behind the salon seating.

Some of the other jobs that have been done include pulling the starboard dagger board for repair at the yard (due back tomorrow after the current blow fizzles), re-insulating the freezer, washing and spraying off the mast during mast inspection, and finishing off the heavy provisioning and the parts needed for remaining jobs before returning the rental car.( I know there are more things sorted, but can’t recall all the fiddly stuff Todd has been doing).
Oh we did squeeze in a pasta making class and a big Italian Sunday lunch at a buffalo farm, so more on that later!
