The next morning we headed off towards Korfos, but swung by a few bays and dropped a lunch hook between 2 little islands. It was dead calm and we were needing a cool off!

This spot was on the border between a submarine test area and a section of ocean that was listed on the chart as being a mine field..made us thankful we could where our anchor was on the bottom!

Kate and Jim on Polaris, and Camilla and Tom on Bon Bini were in the anchorage that evening, so we all went out for a lovely meal at “Papa Georges”, one of the Tavernas on the water. We arrived just before the skies opened up and it rained enthusiastically. It was great having a front row seat to watch the boat getting a good washing! (Many of the Greek islands are very arid and use desalinated seawater for their mainwater supply. They don’t really want you tying up and using it to wash your boat off, so it’s grand when you get one on the house so to speak!)
