Now that we have been camping aboard on the hard for over 3 weeks, we have been discovered by 2 of the yard kitties. They are very cute and amazingly nimble, climbing up and down the ladder, and we look forward to their visits in the evening.
The camp kitchen consists of 1 induction plate, 1 freezer bag, a hose with a water filter attached, and 2 bins (dishes and hand washing). Recently we’ve enjoyed an expanded menu since the dinghy is in the water and I can buzz over to the grocery stores and produce shops. Our splash date is now October 1st at which point we can get the fridge, freezer, and water maker back on line (fingers crossed, no snafu’s with those systems!)
Today we start putting sails back on, depending on breeze.. at anchor the boat always points into the wind but here on the hard it’s fixed. If we get breeze from the stern it won’t we possible to get the sails up and down safely. Best we get to it!
