Season Six

2021 SEASON SIX : Zadar to Prisnjak Mali

After checking out the Sea Organ in Zadar, we reanchored and took the dinghy around to the little town of Kukljica to get a walk in, secure another Sim card, and a few fresh provisions.

Dropping the rubbish and recycling was a bit trickier as the shop owners weren’t keen for us to drop it in the big bins outside the stores. After getting the finger waggle, we headed to the tourist info center and they directed us down to a smaller bin behind the marina. Happy to be relieved of the bags, we had a wander around the narrow streets and grabbed a SIM card at the post office.

SIM cards are readily available at Tabacco shops, Cell Phone stores, and Post Offices. The tourist card is good for a week, had 100 GB, and cost about 13 USD. In Montenegro we were getting 30 days with 200-500 GB ( depending on carrier), for between 13 and 18 USD. Much more reasonable than France, Spain, or Italy!

The wind had switched back to a Northerly so we turned South and had a another good sail with the main and Spinnaker. After 4 pleasant hours, we anchored behind the small strip island of Prisnjak Mali. The water was amazingly clear so it made it easy to check the anchor set, and give the sail drives and props a look-see for growth.. and it felt like it had warmed up a tad!

The Water was so Clear it was Easy to see the Anchor
Another Calm Night at Anchor in Prisnjak

The charter boats and little day rentals left by sunset and we had the place to ourselves, moi tranquillo!
