We had a good 2.5 day passage down to the Bay of Gibraltar. Here, Gibraltar UK borders La Linea de la conception, Spain.
It was great to be bowling along with reefed main and jib for a good 12 hours, before dropping the main and continuing with jib alone when the gusts were in the 30’s. The last 8 hours were a motor sail in overcast calm conditions.

We were pretty jazzed to be rounding Gibraltar and heading to the anchorage. It meant a relaxing afternoon without check in procedures, and Todd promised to get the BBQ out.

Fabulous photos!!!
Cheap diesel and real fish and chips in Gibraltar. Are you anchored at the end of the runway?
