WELCOME, GIDDAY, AND THANKS FOR VISITING US
Just thought we’d put a few words and photo’s in one place to make it easier to track our adventures. We will try to share stories of our travels starting in, and then after France, about living the cruising dream aboard our 471 Catana “Right Meow”.
During season two it was pointed out that the boat might have been more appropriately named “Meow or Later”, or even “Not Right Meow”, hey! Season three saw us off the dock and out of France, finishing at a winter berth in Sicily. Season four was a busy one cruising Greece in the Cyclades and around the Peloponnese’s.
COVID caused as much chaos in the cruising community as it did elsewhere, and we didn’t get back to the boat in Greece until September 2020. Season five then became a ‘Relocation Cruise’ and as of December, Right Meow is comfortably situated in Tivat Montenegro. Here we continue to work through maintenance and upgrades at a more leisurely pace. There is snow on the peaks around the bay of Kotor and we are wearing wool and fleece instead of togs and shorts. I believe we said there wouldn’t be snow on this boat (we’ve had hail), so fingers will remained crossed!
We hope you enjoy the highs, indulge us in the mediums, and suffer with us (or chuckle!) during the lows. Living the dream is tricky..so far we have experienced a fair bit of irritation and anxiety, modest relaxation, no terror yet, (other than spending euros), and a brush with euphoria.
